The IPC-7530 EN standard summarizes the knowledge of thermal profiling of mass brazing processes. The standard describes, in 7 points, the basic knowledge of the different thermal profiles for soldering, the principle of operation of thermal profiling equipment, the analysis of soldering equipment based on thermal profile measurements, guidelines for the selection of thermocouples to be used, the types of thermocouples and their placement. The standard is 18 pages long and includes 7 explanatory figures.
