A 3-day theoretical and practical training that covers real selective soldering tasks, licensed by ELAS from the Chicago-based Selective Soldering Academy, independent of the manufacturer of selective soldering equipment.
The topics of the education go beyond the overview of soldering basics to the solution of the most confusing soldering tasks. Our goal is for the participants to deepen their existing selective soldering knowledge and even put it on new foundations.

Small group, practice oriented training courses
The key element of the practical part of the selective soldering training is the SSA training panel specially designed for this task, which is a multi-layer circuit board that contains today’s most difficult selective soldering challenges and tasks. The panel was developed in cooperation with several manufacturers and soldering experts in order to simulate selective soldering tasks both the most frequently occurring and the most difficult to solve.
Through the educational panel, the participants can gain valuable, detailed knowledge about panel design guidelines, the difficulties posed by surfaces with high heat dissipation, component boundaries and the used soldering aids, which can be solved with well-chosen programming and soldering techniques.
