X-ray technology
The use of CT and 2D X-ray technology enables non-destructive testing in the electronics industry.
X-ray technology allows us to inspect the components of electronic circuits, and the quality of assembly and soldering.
Additionally, it provides the opportunity for examining components such as aluminum castings or injection-molded parts, including size verification and comparison.
The examination and visualization of scanned 3D models are carried out using the globally recognized, market-leading VG Studio software, also represented by ELAS.
The CT technology is most often used for examining the following samples:
- Semi-finished and finished electronic devices
- Assembled circuit boards
- Aluminum castings
- Inspection of cable industry products, connector leads
- Injection-moulded plastic parts
ELAS distributes and supports equipment from Waygate Technologies and Glenbrook Technologies.
