ECD Selective Rider
Unique for selective machine capability
Introduction
ECD SelectiveRIDER® instrument is designed to test any selective soldering machine condition. With the SelectiveRIDER®, repeatable data can be collected on key machine and process parameters to ensure production stability and reliability. The instrument also measures fountain height, fountain X/Y accuracy, fountain diameter, solder temperature, maximum preheat, Delta T at contact, Flux penetration, and Fluxer X/Y accuracy.
The fluxing properties (accuracy of flux application patterns and uniformity, dispense accuracy, flux hole penetration) can be tested with the mini Fluxometer test coupon available for the fluxer type (IPA, Neutral PH & Low PH).
The machine condition test palette for continuous monitoring of equipment capabilities, detection of failures, checking the efficiency of maintenance or comparing equipment. It uses a 6-Channel ECD M.O.L.E.® thermal profiler as the data collection device, and a dedicated environment in MAP software for analysis and SPC.
