We are pleased to invite you to the 8th event in ELAS’s professional event series. This time, our Technology Day will focus on a wide range of backend technologies, with special attention to dispensing, screwdriving, and depaneling solutions.
Through expert presentations and live demonstrations featuring real-life application examples, we will showcase the technologies and solutions we represent, while also providing an excellent opportunity for professional discussions and knowledge exchange in the field of backend manufacturing technologies.
The event will take place on two consecutive days, 14 and 15 October. The presentations will be held primarily in Hungarian and English. The program will be identical on both days, so please register for your preferred date.

The event focuses on complex and diverse assembly technologies whose proper selection and implementation present challenges in the design of almost every production line. We recommend this event to engineers and technical professionals working in final assembly, backend manufacturing processes, and industrial automation.

Key Topics of the Technology Day
Fluid Dispensing Technology
The event will focus on Atlas Copco’s dispensing solutions designed for seamless integration into production lines. We will demonstrate how processes such as thermal interface material dispensing, sealing, potting, and adhesive application can be automated while ensuring consistently high manufacturing quality, short cycle times, and fast, cost-effective integration.
Since the material used, the manufactured product, and the process requirements vary from project to project, the design of these technologies is difficult to standardize. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience in dispensing technology, ELAS can provide the most suitable equipment and technological solution for virtually any application.
Smart Assembly Solutions
Screwdriving is one of the most critical and consistently recurring operations in final assembly. During our Technology Day, Atlas Copco’s intelligent tightening systems will be presented. With integrated torque and angle monitoring, these systems ensure precise process control and excellent repeatability while effectively detecting and preventing the most common tightening errors.
The ease of integration of Atlas Copco solutions will be demonstrated through a real screwdriving application using a desktop robot and low-torque MicroTorque tools commonly used in electronics manufacturing.
Depaneling
We are pleased to introduce our newest partner, SCHUNK Intec, and its advanced depaneling solutions. The German manufacturer offers a comprehensive portfolio including milling, sawing, and laser routing systems.
During the live demonstrations, attendees will have the opportunity to see the SAL-1300 laser depaneling system in operation. Laser depaneling subjects PCBs to less mechanical stress, generates minimal dust, and requires less maintenance and servicing compared to conventional depaneling technologies.
Microdispensing
Due to the ongoing miniaturization of electronic products, backend manufacturing processes increasingly require highly precise microdispensing applications.
Musashi Engineering’s integrable dispensing heads provide an ideal solution for these challenges. During the seminar, we will examine the application of demanding materials such as solder pastes, welding pastes, and greases, all of which are commonly used in this stage of manufacturing.
